After completing my Abitur, I initially trained as an optician. However, this never became a reality, and I started a translation degree in Heidelberg three years later. With the languages Spanish and English, I was delighted to have finally found the right field! After successfully completing this degree, I treated myself to some time out in Barcelona – and I have yearned for this fantastic city ever since!
I have been translating at exact! since 1991 (from English into German), and I still feel like this is exactly the right job for me.
